Our Designs & Attention To Detail

A big part of the reason for starting up Forza Football Club is not just a business venture, it is because it is something I really enjoy doing. I love trying to recreate iconic things and make them as detailed as I can, and football shirts are one of my loves, something I even collect. So it made sense to design football shirts and put them on phone cases. It all started when I designed a football shirt for the team I support, Bradford City, and a lot of people commented that they really liked the not only the quality of the phone case, but they wanted one with a football shirt of their favourite football team.

Obviously, there are certain things I couldn’t do for legal reasons, that at this stage I still cannot do, until there comes a time when I can afford licensing agreements with football clubs. That is include the team crest on it. But if the business does really well, and I can eventually afford the licensing, I can guarantee that I will then start adding the crests. However, that is down to you, because if lots of people are buying from this website, the more chance there is of being able to afford to get the required licensing most other places don’t have. That’s the dream at least.

One feature that I think makes my designs stand out is the attention I pay to making the football shirts look and feel like football shirts. In the original design at least, you can see all of the effects of the material and in some cases stitching detail, that whether you can see them or not on the actual phone case, you can certainly feel them. By that I mean there are things you can’t see but can sense, and you can sense that the colours, such as stripes, aren’t just striped blocks of colour, but are more like they would be if it was an actual shirt.

Another feature is the time taken over designing the collar. For many companies who want to mass produce these things just to sell to football fans world wide, without having the same care for the actual design, the collar is often something that is a simple template that they can quickly change depending on the football team. The collars I design have the rivets in the material and time is spent on them to ensure that they are as close to the actual collar as possible. If you stare at them long enough, or keep looking at it from time to time, you’ll always spot something you might not have noticed first time around. All of this, for something that is often 50% hidden by the camera, but it really matters and makes a difference. I can certainly understand why similar phone cases might not have as much detail, because the collar can take as much time as designing the whole shirt, at least for the time being until I have a collection of collars I will only need to make minor adjustments to ensure it looks like the real thing on a number of designs.

Releasing The Kits – The Kit Launch

Part of the fun of the process will be the kit launches that I plan in the future. Just like real kit launches, I’d like to make a fun bit of a song and dance about my kit launches.

If you don’t see your clubs shirt the first time you visit this website, keep coming back, as they do take a bit of time to do and I am working on new ones all of the time. But, what will help a great deal is if you can contact me with requests, because if I get a request, I will put them to the front of the queue once I’ve finished whichever shirt I’m working on.
